Thanks to God For My Redemeer

This photos were taken when we were up in Bukit Tabur.

There are abundance showing of beautiful and natural creation that is not only growing in the wild, it's like letters all around you, carrying a message.....

a message of love

Besides our usual stocks of fruits & vegetables, such as cucumber , carrots , tomatoes that we pack to eat up in Bukit Tabur, Jenny always spoil our plan of healthy nutrition, many of her recipes in cooking, true to the taste of kampung chicken, can change one's mind as a herbivores to carnivores.

We don't mind her pampering.

Tomorrow will be a better day....

Take Out the Rubbish

These empty food wrappers, printed with "Jangan Buka Sebelum Makan" were thrown everywhere in Kemensah Trail in Klang Gate. well, it will takes million of years for these to turn into petroleum, anyone to confirm this ?

It is eyesores & disheartening to see rubbish thrown everywhere along the beautiful jungle tracks by inconsiderate trekkers.

The picture above, is to bring a message of awareness, whatever you can take in to the jungle, please take them out especially if it is non-perishable.

Empty plastic bottles, aluminium drink cans, plastic food covers, plastic canister if these do not originate from there, out they should be from the jungle.

We want to especially advise that used batteries must be taken out from the jungle as it will pollute water source through the rivers that flows downstream.

Merry Christmas 2008

Wishing You a Merry Christmas

Bukit Kutu Kuala Kubu Baru ( 3,456 ft)

In conquering fear,
It is to face up the fear upfront
Throughout the journey,
You will find
The meaning of courage & fear

What is flourishing ..............is courage,
What is withering...........is fear.

Notice the living branch,
The twigs may look dead
but there are leaves on it.

Picture description
The tree stand tall at the edge of rock at the summit of Bukit Kutu, half of the tree withered and the other half is flourishing with green leaves.

*********************************************************************************

Bukit Kutu,
was a unknown hill we bound,
We went along with those trekking guys;
Until at the end of trip we found…….
feet that our body attached to,
No longer listened to our command.

first it was so difficult,
to even climb back to the car seat,
without to mention, for the following week,
we need both hands to lift our feet, even just to walk.

It was great discovery in the next many days & weeks,
How we have been so weak & unfit.
We really need to overcome the ' supposedly ' defeat,

We never attempt Bukit Kutu, for at least the following whole year.

At the back of our mind, to go back there , deep in our heart, there was an unspoken fear.

Bukit Kutu, when we came to you in 2006.
the task was as gigantic as your awesome granite rocks

Bukit Kutu, when we bid farewell to 2007,
We had, in different places,
attempted some others boulders & difficult rocks.
Now that we think,
not that we have attained all,
The task to Bukit Kutu, relatively aint that hard.

Goodbye 2007, goodbye,
Bukit Kutu, we appreciate you,
It started us enjoying hills & mountain climbing,
& in the nature now we can sing

Fear, O fear where art thy sting ???

Date : December 23, 2007
Destination : Bukit Kutu
Nature : River crossings, steep sections and crawling under fallen bamboo obstacles make
Bukit Kutu unique and interesting.
Estimated Time : We made it 8.30am - 4 pm (7.5 hours To & Fro including lunch & bath at the river)

Remarks : Bukit Kutu was the first experience into the world of trekking for me & Alex.

Back then in 2006, at the end of the Kutu trip, it was a few days of torture.
( In simple words, it was so torturous to lift our legs, to walk in small steps, worst still if you need to squart !!! )

looking back NOW,

Hei ! Not bad, we have improved.

Gunung Batu Putih Tapah ( 6990 ft )

Hooray........................

What is Joy ?

Minimum of 8 hours of trekking per day for 3 days continuously walk may sound nuts, but the experience of reaching the summit is really a joy that no one can give.

Joy is....
In good spirit, taking up the challenges to reach your destination.

Joy is.....
when you do not see what you are doing is difficult, even though it indeed is a difficult task, yet you continue to do what you are enjoying.

& life begins when you enjoy what you are doing.

For those who love life, enjoys life, the difficult life ???

What then is Happiness ?

Happiness is....
When you see city guys choose to sleep in cave instead of comfy bed.

Hapiness is....
: Sharing a 4 pax tent to accomodate 7 pax of fun loving people, cramped together, but still able to share laughs and giggles, having fun sleeping like sardines in tin can.

" Yours truly tan agnes is in green long sleeve "

Happiness is....
: After you avoid the thorns along the path, you warn others behind you to avoid it so it won't hurt them too.

Happiness is....
: When there is a potential danger in a difficult terrain, you make good judgement to make your footstep safe and you tell others to do the same.

Happiness is....
Sharing & caring.
