其實那些山、那些風景根本不在乎你年齡有多大,你口袋裡有多少錢,
他們在乎的是,你是不是足夠的健康,能不能走到他們的面前。」quote 花甲背包客

In actual fact, those mountains, those scenaries, it didnt matter to them how old you are, how much money you have in your pocket, what matters is " Do you have the health ? can you walk..... to their front ?

Faith was born in a junkyard in December 2002. Stringfellow's then-17-year-old son, Reuben, rescued the scrappy pup, and with the help of peanut butter, mother and son taught her to walk on her hind legs. Since then, Faith has grown to be somewhat of a celebrity on the talk-show circuit -- even Oprah had the dog on -- and Stringfellow has become a motivational speaker and the author of two books. Many of the stops Faith and Stringfellow make are to the rehabilitation wards of veterans hospitals to cheer wounded soldiers.

From the Associated Press story:

For many, Faith brings a powerful message about overcoming adversity. "Faith has shown me that different is beautiful, that it is not the body you are in but the soul that you have," Jill Salomon of Montreal, Canada, wrote on Faith's website.

Stringfellow will never forget a woman from New York who happened to see Faith on a street corner. She was depressed and had lost both legs to diabetes.

"She was in her wheelchair and saw us. She was crying. She had seen Faith on television. She just held her and said she wished she had that kind of courage." Stringfellow said. "She told us: 'I was on my way to pick up the gun.' She handed the pawn ticket to a police officer and said she didn't need it anymore."

That sense of hope is especially important for Faith's visits to Army bases. Last weekend she headed to Washington state, where she met with as many as 5,000 soldiers at McChord Air Force Base and Ft. Lewis. Some of the soldiers were headed to war, some were coming back.

"She just walks around barking and laughing and excited to see them all," Jude Stringfellow said. "There is a lot of crying, pointing and surprise. From those who have lost friends or limbs, there can be silence. Some will shake my hand and thank me, some will pat her on the head. There is a lot of quiet, heartfelt, really deep emotion."

As the saying goes, "Until one has loved an animal, part of their soul remains unawakened." I don't know who said that, but truer words were never spoken:Richard Metzger

Lyrics When You Believe by Maria Carey

Lyrics of When you believe by Maria Carey N Whitney Houston can be found here

Many nights we've prayed
With no proof anyone could hear
In our hearts a hopeful song
We barely understood

Now we are not afraid
Although we know there's much to fear
We were moving mountains long
Before we knew we could

There can be miracles, when you believe
Though hope is frail, it's hard to kill
Who knows what miracles you can achieve
When you believe, somehow you will
You will when you believe

In this time of fear
When prayers so often prove(s) in vain
Hope seems like the summer birds
Too swiftly flown away

Yet now I'm standing here
My heart's so full I can't explain
Seeking faith and speaking words
I never thought I'd say

There can be miracles, when you believe
Though hope is frail, it's hard to kill
Who knows what miracles you can achieve
When you believe, somehow you will
You will when you believe

They don't (always happen) when you ask
(Oh)
And it's easy to give in to your fears
(Oh...Ohhhh)
But when you're blinded by your pain
Can't see your way straight throught the rain
(A small but )still resilient voice
Says (hope is very near)
(Ohhh)

The father, despite his age and a heart disease, said " YES "

and they run marathon together.

The son said to his father " Dad, can you run the marathon with me again ? "

The father said " YES "

One day, the son asked " Dad, can you do the ironman with me ? "

Andrew Loh Zhu An

Knowing Andrew, who studies at Swarthmore College, Pennsylvania in USA was when Amelia was doing her college application essay.

Just know that Andrew is a high achiever , I bet you will be speechless when you read his resume.

Don't believe me ?

To sum up what someone said. He is " SCARY ".

Do You know the meaning of " SCARY " ???? Just google up " Andrew Loh Zhu An " will get you the answer.

I have been wanting to meet him personally for so long to say " thank you " for the help he rendered to Amelia in the process of her US College application.

Finally we met in Sunway when we brought our guest Mr. Ahmet from Turky to Sunway Pyramid Shopping Centre.

The first few greetings and words Andrew spoke to Mr. Ahmet, uttered in Turkish language had Mr. Ahmet laughed so heartily that they created an almost instant rapport.

Following that they talked to each other in Arabic which had even some of the tourists at the Archery Centre spelled bound.

Focus, no two way about what he wants, strategic thinker, stop to take stock in life.

What a fine young man Andrew is, someone who strives not only to be an achiever academically, but be available to some worthy causes, touching life and leaving impact on others' life ( Swarthmore Bosnia Project etc....)

You ask my first impression of him, well, as he is peers with Amelia, he is such a Happy Kid to me.

then, you may ask, doesn't he has any worry ?

Oh.....on that, I am sure he has many.

To lessen his worry, I offered to help keep all his appointments, doing selection and screening through on all the candidates who wants to meet him.

He gladly accepted my offer and mind you, within very short time, the records show the booking of almost 120 pages and there are more entries which i have a hard time choosing.

So,

all Leng Loi,

美女

wants to be sitting next him for fine dining & enjoying a doze of good jokes.

You are required to contact me, to check his availablity. My advice with one simple condition, if you are not celebrity red flaming hot, please, don't bother to call.

Mmmmm....wait..

Is he one ???

I was dumb folded when I found the below on Andrew , click here.
